Virtual Schools have been controversial since their inception. Their poor performance hasn’t helped. However, now virtual schools are even under attack from their cousins, charter schools.
The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, the 50-State Campaign for Achievement Now and the National Association of Charter School Authorizers gave a set of recommendations around virtual schools.
The recommendations include guidance around authorizing, test standards, and audits.
