The American Federation for Children (AFC) released their school choice report card. Indiana’s Choice Scholarship Program was ranked number 3 nationally.
The report card, which measures voucher programs and scholarship tax credits, looked around the country to see who was doing school choice the best.
Some of the suggestions for Indiana to improve were to increase the average scholarship size and increase the income limit for student eligibility.
Indiana’s voucher program has been met with lots of criticism, however it appears that people who advocate for voucher programs think Indiana is doing something right.
