If you are a parent, you know that a school break can lead to complaining. Your children may complain even if you take them on a trip that you had to save up for a year by putting away a percentage of each paycheck. A top complaint from our children is that they are bored.
Then, when parents suggest something like washing dishes or cleaning their rooms, to fill in the time from being bored, there are grumbles and inaudible words. In my home, they better be inaudible, and they better not even be thought too loudly.
Whether you are doing a staycation or getting out on a getaway vacation, playing a little BINGO could be good for your kids. Below are twenty-four activities. Have your children get five in a row. You can make the free choice spot a choice they get to choose. If your children are on a balanced calendar and have spring break for two weeks, have them get BINGO twice. This will cover Monday-Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, you are on your own. Hopefully, this will help with some of the boredom.
